Lacunar tonsillitis (new EX735Ag Modific)
Patient details
Gender/age: male, 13 (schoolboy)
Presented condition, complaints: throat pains when swallowing, enlarged and painful submaxillary lymph nodes, raised body temperature
Past medical history: got acutely ill, the day before he came to me. Was examined by ENT specialist.
Diagnose: lacunar tonsillitis. Nose and throat swabs were taken to exclude the possibility of diphtheria.
Treatment
Time of action during session: 30 min
Action modes used: Scenar-Cosmodic Slider auto, Scenar-Cosmodic Slider 5, Scenar, Scenar- MYO.
Areas treated: back, collar zone, Pirogov's ring, jugular fossa, submaxillary lymph nodes, He Gu GI.4. Scenar- MYO was used directly on submaxillary lymph nodes.
Change of the patient's condition during and after session: after first session the patient felt alleviation: it became easier to swallow saliva, throat pain abated. Body temperature before the first session was 39.1°Ñ and after the session- 38.4°Ñ. Submaxillary lymph nodes got a bit smaller, but within an hour enlarged again. By the end of the first day of treatment (after 4 sessions, which were carried out every 1.5-2 hours) lymph nodes became smaller half as much. Palatine tonsils also reduced in size. Lacunes began to discharge pus.
Total number of sessions: 9
Total time of treatment (days, weeks): 3 days. On the first day — 4 sessions, the second day- 3 and the third-2.
Final result of treatment: no complaints, normal body temperature. Submaxillary lymph nodes are neither enlarged nor painful. Fauces is hyperemic, tonsils without pus. Scenar- therapy was performed without the use of medications. The patient also rinsed his mouth and throat with lemon juice 4 times a day and increased intake of liquids.
